How to display Google customer reviews via a widget?

Since v.1.1.0 of Google Customer Reviews extension, we have added an option to display reviews via a widget. In order to obtain the functionality, the Google Customer Reviews Slider module should be installed additionally. You can find the 'amasty/module-google-customer-reviews-widget' package for installing in composer suggest. The module is compatible with Hyva. The 'amasty/module-google-customer-reviews-widget-hyva' module can be installed via composer as well. Please note that the modules are available as a part of an active subscription.

After installing the extension, the functionality Google Places API Key will appear in the Amasty Google Customer Reviews extension's configuration:


Generate and add the key to enable the display of Google Customer Reviews via a widget on your website pages, please, make sure that Places API (New) is enabled. Once done, kindly navigate to Content > Elements > Widgets and choose Amasty Latest Google Customer Reviews Slider:


On the Storefront Properties tab, you can configure all standard widget settings, including Widget Title, Store Views, and Sort Order. Also, you can select the pages and define the widget's placement within the page. In the Widget Options tab you can adjust more specific settings for your widget.


As a result, the widget would be displayed on the storefront the following way:
