Defining Abandoned Cart Criteria in Magento

When is the cart considered abandoned?

By default, the cart is considered abandoned when the order wasn't placed, and the cart has been closed for at least 10 minutes. It's possible to change this value by using Abandoned Cart Email → Configuration → Cart Considered Abandoned After Period (Minutes) setting: 


As a result, a cart will be considered abandoned when the cart has been closed for the number of minutes specified in this setting.
