Understanding Product License Statuses in Amasty Base Extension

What does each product license status in the Base extension mean?

We've introduced a license registration feature in the Base module. Clients are required to verify their products by inserting and verifying a key generated in their account. Each product assigned to this key will then receive a specific status. This article explains each status in detail.

 

How to check the product license status?

1. Go to the Base module. You can find this feature under: Amasty Extensions → Products.

2. Enter your Instance Registration Key generated in your account. Click on Save and Verify.

What does each product license status mean?

Status

Description

Details

ACTIVE

Your product has a valid license.

You have full access to product updates, Hyvä and GraphQL packages, new features, as well as support services according to the purchased plan.

No actions are required.

NOT FOUND

Product license not found.

The installed product isn't linked to the saved Instance Registration Key.

Further actions: 

  1. Make sure you have a Complete order for this product, the product is assigned to the project, and its edition matches the edition of the Magento instance. If the product was refunded, please either remove it from the instance or repurchase it to continue using the product;
  2. If the product isn't found in your current amasty.com account, consider looking for its order under other email addresses. Upon finding the email linked to the order, register the product per our instruction using the found email; 
  3. If the steps above don't help, contact our Support Team.

EXPIRED

Product license has expired.

The product had a Product Subscription, and it has expired. At the moment, the product doesn’t have access to product updates. You can still use and download old module codebase.

Further actions: if you’d like to regain access to product updates, consider renewing its Product Subscription. Visit Subscriptions tab in your amasty.com account to do that.

INVALID EDITION
Installed product edition does not match Magento installation edition.

According to our Terms & Conditions, a module edition should exactly match the Magento edition it is used at. An error appears if a mismatch is found. Further actions:

  1. Ensure that the product edition added to the project matches the edition of your Magento instance. If there is a mismatch, you will need to switch to the correct edition of the product.
  2. If help is required with checking purchased module edition or with upgrading it, contact our Support Team for further assistance.

LIMITED

Access to updates is limited.

Reason 1: The product was purchased before we switched to product subscriptions (Feb 1, 2022), and Support Subscription isn't activated for it. At the moment, the product has access to maintenance updates but doesn’t have access to new features, Hyvä and GraphQL packages, as well as support.

Reason 2: The product was purchased before we switched to product subscriptions (Feb 1, 2022), an active Support Subscription is present in the account, but it isn't assigned to License Registration project.

No actions are required to keep using the product and have access to maintenance updates. If you’d like to gain access to more features and support for this product, consider purchasing a Support Subscription available at this page.

In case you purchased a Support Subscription already, ensure that it is added to your License Registration project to unlock access to more features.

CANCELED

Product subscription is canceled.

The subscription for this product has been canceled in your amasty.com account. You have access to all product updates and support until the paid period ends. After that, you will lose access to maintenance updates, new features, including Hyvä and GraphQL packages, and to support service according to the purchased plan.

No further actions are required to use the product. If you want to have access to product updates and support after the paid period ends, please renew the Product Subscription, or, for products purchased before February 1, 2022, renew your Support Subscription .

PENDING VERIFICATION

Product needs verification.

To pass the verification, please create a project in your amasty.com customer account and assign all the installed extensions to this project. Then save the Instance Registration Key and verify it in your Magento admin area. The detailed instruction can be found on this page.

TEST ONLY
Product is available exclusively for evaluation and testing purposes in development and staging environments only.
The product has access to subscription-based features, Hyvä and GraphQL packages, but Support Subscription benefits and technical support for instance-specific issues or customization requests are not available. Products intended for testing purposes are temporary and will be automatically removed.

Further actions: to gain full access and use the product in production environment, you need to purchase the module.
