I have changed the Omnibus Price Tracker app settings but the lowest price block is not updated/visible on the frontend. What should I check?

If you’ve changed the app settings but the lowest price block is not immediately visible on the frontend, this can happen when the Block Rendering Strategy in Apps > Omnibus Price Tracker > Settings is set to Shopify Metafields.



In this mode, the app stores information about minimum prices and widget settings directly in product and variant metafields. Metafields are custom fields in Shopify, and when you change app settings, the app updates these metafields for each product and variant.

Each metafield update requires a separate request to Shopify. Updating a single product’s metafield takes approximately 0.5 seconds, so the total update time depends on the number of products and variants in your store. As a result, the final lowest price values may take some time to appear on the frontend.

In short, the widget appears instantly with the page, but the data may take a short while (depending on your catalog size) to update across all products. Once the metafield updates are processed, the lowest price block should display the correct values.
