How to match an image by SKU using PicManager?
1. Access PicManager Settings:
- Navigate to Apps > PicManager > Settings.
- Select one of the following from the dropdown menu:
- SKU (assign to variants, parent products, and simple products): This option assigns images by SKU to variants, their parent products, and simple items.
- SKU (assign to parent products and simple products): This option skips variants during the matching process.
2. Choose a Matching Type:
- Full Match: Matches images using the complete SKU.
- Partial Match: Matches images if the full image name corresponds to part of the product SKU.
3. Avoid Duplicates - enable the Avoid duplicates checkbox if an image needs to be used across multiple products. This ensures only a single image is uploaded to Shopify, avoiding duplicates.
Note: If this option is enabled, alt tags will not be generated.4. Select the separator - choose the required separator if uploading multiple images to one product.
5. Go to Apps > Upload Images to finalize the process. Images will be matched by SKU.
