How to limit a referral program to logged-in customers only?
If you would like to prevent the Affiliates from using their own referral discounts (URLs, coupons, etc.) as guest customers, you can limit the referral program to registered customers only. For that, open the needed Affiliate program and click on the Edit Rule button to change the Affiliate cart price rule.
You will be redirected to the cart price rule settings where the referral discount is configured. Here, you can select the customer groups that will receive the discount as referrals. In order to restrict it for guests, unselect the NOT LOGGED IN group from the list as observed below:
This way, if guest customers use a referral promo code, the discount won't be applied.
