How to delete custom checkout fields?

      Due to the fact that the additional checkout fields are stored in the database, the default extension functionality doesn't allow removing them in the Admin Area settings. 
      If you don't need a custom field and you'd like it not to appear on the frontend, you may disable the attribute by placing it in the Disabled Checkout Fields block in the System > Manage Checkout Fields.
