How to customize the SEO content of the pages with SEO Meta Tags Templates

How to customize the SEO content of the pages with SEO Meta Tags Templates?

Some extensions allow the creation of pages but lack the functionality of customizing their SEO parameters. For example, you may be willing to add NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW robot tags to the authors, categories or tags pages created with the Blog Pro extension, or change the Robot Tags on the brand pages, created with our Shop By Brand extension, in this case, we have a solution to offer - our SEO Meta Tags Templates module.

Its key feature is the ability to change Title, Meta Description, Keywords, Canonical URL, and Robot Tags of pages by their URL. So it is not important, which extension was used to create that page.

The extension supports URL patterns which makes it a powerful tool for changing the above listed parameters of the pages in bulk. Here is how this works:

Step 1. In the Magento Admin panel, please proceed to Content → Amasty Meta section → Meta tags by Custom URLs and click Add New.

Step 2. Put the URL pattern in the Page URL field:

Step Step 3. Specify the parameters of the page to be changed in the Page Content tab:
Step 4. Save changes, run a full reindex, and flush the Magento cache. As a result, all the pages with URL which meets the pattern will have their meta-information rewritten.

If you require a complex decision for improving the SEO capability of your store, you may consider our SEO Toolkit extension which includes the SEO Meta Tags package.
