How to add product links to the menu?

Our Mega Menu extension allows you to seamlessly integrate not only category links but also product URLs into your website menu. Here are two methods to accomplish this:

1. Using Custom Menu Item:
  1. Navigate to the Custom Menu Items section in Amasty > Mega Menu Configuration > Custom Menu Item and click on the Add New Custom Item button.
  2. Use the URL Key: Internal URL setting to select the appropriate option for linking to a specific page or product.
  3. Insert the URL key of the product in question:

  4. You may also set the Menu Position for the Custom Menu Item to determine where it will appear in your menu. Please, note that this feature is available in the Premium version of the Mega Menu after installation of the amasty/module-mega-menu-items-tree addon.
Here is how the menu item is shown on the frontend using this configuration:

2. Using Menu Page Builder:

For inserting product links within submenus, you can utilize the Page Builder feature. The function is available after installing the amasty/mega-menu-page-builder add-on,
  1. Go to Catalog > Categories and open the category under which the submenu will be displayed. For instance, to display links under the "Women" menu item, open the "Women" category.
  2. Select the Mega Menu tab and access the Page Builder near the Content field. Note that there are separate tabs for desktop and mobile content.

  3. Within the Page Builder, you can insert a default Catalog Product Link widget to add product links directly into the submenu.

After saving your changes and clearing the cache, the product links will appear within the submenu, enhancing user navigation.

By following these methods, you can effectively customize and enhance your store’s navigation, improving usability and customer experience.
