Transfer Amasty Modules to Another Account: Step-by-Step Guide

How do I share my modules with another amasty.com account for download and registration?

We've introduced a feature that allows all users to share license registration projects listed in one customer account to another. As a result, both accounts will be able to assign modules to it, copy the project's Instance Registration Key and download extensions via Composer. The shared project will be located in the License Registration tab of both the accounts, but the invoice and order itself will be available only in the initial License Owner account.
      Kindly note that the account that created the project (Project Owner account) will have access to all modules assigned to that project, even if it was done from other amasty.com accounts. At the same time, the account the project was shared with (License Owner Account) will only have access to their own modules that they choose to assign to that project. Each account that has access to the project will have their own different pair of Composer keys to download the modules available to them in accordance with project access. 
     Follow these steps to complete the sharing process:

Project Owner account

  1. In the Project Owner account (account that needs to obtain access to extensions) at amasty.com, navigate to License Registration tab;
  2. If that account doesn't have any License Registration projects yet, create one according to our guide;
  3. Click on the Share link next to the project you'll be using:

  4. In the popup that appears, enter the email address of the License Owner account (account that purchased the extensions) and press Share button:
  5. Confirm sharing in the next step by pressing Continue button in the popup:
  6. Verify that sharing is complete. Added amasty.com account should now be listed in the project:

    And a special icon should appear next to the project to indicate that it's now shared with another account:

  7. After verifying that the project has been successfully shared, contact the License Owner account to request adding extensions to the project you shared.
Notes
To share the project successfully and avoid any errors, the License Owner account email entered in the popup should be associated with an already existing amasty.com account that has extension purchases. Contact our Support team if you have any issues with locating it.

License Owner account

  1. License Owner account should navigate to License Registration tab at amasty.com and find the shared project in the Projects shared with me section. To add licenses to that project, click on the Manage link:

  2. Select the extension(s) that should become available in the shared project and Save the changes:
  3. As a result, added extensions will appear in the project. License Owner account will see only their own extensions:
  4. While Project Owner account will see all extensions added to their project. Consequently, Project Owner account will be able to register and download all extensions in the project using Instance Registration Key and Composer keys from it:

NotesIn Composer, access to extension packages in shared projects is granted on the project level. Therefore, downloading added extensions is possible via Composer with the help of Composer keys from a specific project, not the account-level Composer keys from Products tab (that functionality has been deprecated, so account-level keys need to be replaced with project-level keys).
