If you sell products in the EU, your store must comply with both Omnibus price transparency requirements and the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).
The Omnibus regulation requires merchants to display the lowest price applied within the previous 30 days when showing discounts. GPSR requires online sellers to provide product safety and traceability information, including manufacturer details, EU Responsible Person information (when applicable), product identification, and safety warnings.
With the GPSR compliance features in Omnibus Insights, you can display the required information directly on your product pages, reduce manual updates, and simplify compliance management across your catalog.
Follow these steps to enable and configure the GPSR widget.
Go to Apps > Omnibus Insights.
On the app dashboard, locate the App status section.
The section contains two areas:
Lowest price status (left)
GPSR compliance (right)
To activate the GPSR widget:
Click Install GPSR widget (the default status is Inactive).
The app will automatically open the Shopify Theme Editor.
The GPSR compliance widget will be added to your theme.
Drag and drop the widget to your preferred position on your product pages.
To control who can see the GPSR information, go to:
Apps > Omnibus Insights > Settings > GPSR compliance
Choose one of the following display options:
All countries (Default)
The GPSR information is displayed to all visitors, regardless of location.
EU countries only
The GPSR information is displayed only to visitors Shopify identifies as being located in an EU country.
If Shopify cannot determine a visitor’s location (for example, due to privacy settings or VPN usage), the app uses a safe fallback and displays the GPSR information to ensure compliance coverage.Go to the Apps > Omnibus Insight> Manufacturers tab in the app sidebar to open the manufacturer management grid.
Here you can:
Search manufacturers by name.
Filter manufacturers by Type or Location.
Manage existing manufacturer profiles.
To add a new manufacturer:
Click Add new.
Enter the required manufacturer details.
Save the profile.

Deleting a manufacturer profile automatically removes its assignment from all linked products and hides it from the storefront.
Changing a manufacturer’s Type is immediately reflected across all assigned products.
The products grid under Apps > Omnibus Insight > Products includes a visual indicator showing which products currently have GPSR information assigned.
This allows you to quickly identify products that still require compliance data.
Click Edit on a product and open the GPSR compliance tab.
Complete the following sections:
Add the relevant manufacturer details.
Provide the required product identification information.
Add applicable safety details, such as warnings, precautions, age restrictions, or disposal instructions.
You can add translations for custom safety texts to support customers in different languages.
In the Safety Information section, click Translations.
Click Add translations to enter the required text in your target languages.
Once translations are saved, icons showing the available two-letter language codes will appear next to the main Translate button.
The storefront automatically displays the translation matching the customer’s active language. If no matching translation exists, the original source text will be displayed. For large catalogs, you can add GPSR data to multiple products at once.
Select the required products using the checkboxes in the product grid. Bulk action options will appear.
Click Assign manufacturer.
Then:
Select the manufacturer types you want to apply (for example, Manufacturer or Importer).
Click Select to open the assignment window.
Use the dropdown menus to map manufacturer profiles to the selected products.
Click Add safety information to open the bulk safety information window.
