Does your Omnibus Price Tracker app calculate the VAT pricing separately?
Our Omnibus Price Tracker app does not calculate VAT or other taxes separately. Instead, it relies entirely on the final prices calculated by Shopify, which already include any adjustments made in the catalog using Price Adjustments:
When a Price Adjustment is added in the catalog, Shopify automatically recalculates the product prices to include the adjustment. The app then simply uses the final prices as Shopify provides them. It does not try to calculate VAT percentages or tax amounts itself.
As a result, the app always shows prices consistent with Shopify’s final calculations and Markets price lists.
If your store applies taxes in a different way than via Price Adjustments and you are facing issues with tax application, please contact our support team for further review and assistance.
