Case description and configurations

We needed a module that can create multiple custom shipping methods and use it so that customers can select relevant shipping methods on the checkout depending on the destination address and basket attributes. We configured the extension to change despatch methods based on the products in the basket and Shipping Address. Additionally, we set estimated delivery time for each created method. 

General feedback and examples of the result

Amasty Shipping Table Rates extension covers our requirements. It adds the features that were lacking in default Magento and allows us to easily manage shipping methods and change them as required, since each rate is configurable and one can choose conditions of its application. The module calculates the rates for the order and displays to customers the available delivery methods depending on the basket attributes so that the customers can select relevant shipping methods. We also find the feature of displaying lead time for customers quite useful. Below are some examples of shipping methods on our website:
