Q2 Roadmap

Thanks for staying with us in 2021. This time we’d like to share our development plans for Q2 2021 with you. Keep an eye out for updates and feel free to comment for details.

It is worth noting that here is presented an approximate schedule for the future releases - there might be shifts in release dates. Any changes will be highlighted in new posts in the Roadmap forum. Follow us in order not to miss the news and get notifications on new posts.

New modules

In the current Q, we’ve planned to add several new products to our catalog. In April, the release of the Custom Reports Builder module is awaited (now available for preorder). During this period we are also working on the enhancement of SEO functionality for your stores, and a new product aimed at mass generation of alt tags for images is being under development - release is also planned for April.

As a part of a big Import & Export solution, we’ve released the Import Orders and plan to add the Import Customers and Import Products modules in May and June accordingly. Export Products, Export Customers, and Export Orders modules could be found in our catalog and are also a part of Import & Export module.

Touching upon new modules, this Q we are going to introduce new solutions. A solution or a suit is a product line that includes three variations of one and the same product. These are designed to meet as many requirements as possible by dividing them into lite, pro, and premium versions. So, this month you could expect the release of the Elastic Search, SEO Toolkit, and Gift Card Solutions. On top of it, in April we are going to release the Product Status Suite. In May, the release of the Mega Menu solution is expected and also we will continue testing the Abandoned Cart solution. Further info on this solution will follow. And finally, in June, the One Step Checkout solution is planned for release and the Multiple Coupons solution will also be tested (no ETA on release yet).

In our store, you can also find PWA add-ons for many of the modules. In the near future, we are going to add PWA add-ons for Social Login (April), Custom Stock Status (May), Gift Card, and GDPR (June).

Jet Theme

We are growing potential for our Jet Theme and adding multiple new features to it this Q to make it even more flexible. This April we are working on a layout switcher that will allow creating various CMS layouts, and modification of the dark theme. Additionally, tooltips and descriptions for color scheme settings will be added. For the Jet Theme, May is going to be really productive. In May is awaited integration of the Jet Theme with the Banner Slider, Custom Button, Social Login, Google Maps, and One Step Checkout modules. Expanding the functionality also touches the style modification: we’re adding RTL support, the functionality of switching between style presets or add individual ones, and further enhancements on footer personalization. Our team has already started working on the realization of the payment method info block to show customers available store payment methods.

And finishing the Q2, in June, we will be working on extended menu configuration, horizontal “Add to Cart” block for PDP, support of non-Latin fonts, enhancement of image gallery, and adding reCAPTCHA on the checkout page.

But don’t think we’ve forgotten about improving the existing modules - great work is ahead. First of all, we are preparing our modules for the release of new Magento versions. By the time of Magento 2.3.7 and 2.4.2-p1 general availability, we plan to test our modules on compatibility with the new versions and release compatibility updates if required. More info will be available on the modules’ product pages in the Changelog tab.

Other improvements and technical updates planned for this Q:
